This is the large finished painting. It was 20 X 36 inches and started as a watercolor with some gouache added.

Angel on My Window Sill

This is a small 5X7 watercolor of a little Christmas ornament my Aunt gave me many years ago. I liked the colors in it as it was clear plastic but had an iridescent shine. I destroyed that by putting it in a plastic bag for storage. But I still liked it and so wanted to paint it.

FOG RISING

This is a new picture I just finished for a collector. It is a pastel done on a black piece of drawing paper. I love the steamy fog rising from the water. Prints are available.

Amish Buggy

This is a small section of a larger watercolor. It was done on Watercolor paper and is watercolor and gouache.

Buggy in the Snow

This was done as a demo in a class. I was trying to show how you can do a interesting wash and then paint something into it . This can create and exciting painting. I love the way this ended up. i think I captured the feeling one would have out alone in a buggy with snow all around. 

Amish Boys

This is a small watercolor 

about 6 X 9. After I finished 

it looked so washed out 

that I went back it with a 

really bright electric blue 

was in the sky to add a more 

dramatic lighting effect.

Tundra Swans flying over the Accomac Inn

paint from my boat 

on the Susquehanna 

River. It was  a 

watercolor. The

sold but I do have
