Using pastels, acrylic, colored pencils and watercolor she creates paintings illustrating the Susquehanna River, the Lancaster & York County area. Also, an airbrush is used to create special effects such as fog, soft skies, and light bursting behind lighthouses. Commissioned portraits of people and animals are usually done in pastels, while buildings and landscapes are done in watercolor.
Michael's frog is a painting that was purchased many years ago. It was painted originally in oil but as the picture became lost I repainted it, over the original, in acrylic. This was a very large painting maybe 54 inches high by 40 wide. I have since painted several frogs because I just love them.
